Fundamentally the concept of taxation with representation. Meaning you let’s say pay 50 bucks (per office voted on), you get your ballot and I think the crowd fund from it would go to pay the Elected official, now that means even a sleazy incumbent can’t afford to black pill people.
You register.
You list the offices you’ll want to vote on and it charges you on Election Day after the count.
The idea this would be the only source of a Politician’s salary would mean not even being able to disenfranchise even smaller party competitors. Needing them to vote as well.
Added: I like the idea of it capped at 50 but all the Candidates competing on price, dropping the poll tax if they’d like.
